She can speak different languages, Sinhala English, Italian & Spanish. She has studied Architecture for Higher studies. During her higher studies she had begun modeling in Italy. She took part Miss Lotus contest in 2008 & won second place, and that year has to participate Miss Casino title and she was able to win that crown.
